This is an Etude I wrote for work with triad pairs on a V7 chord. Basically the root triad, and the major triad from the 7th scale degree. The first track is myself playing the Etude on EVI, and the rest of the tracks are play along tracks.Just bass and drums. There are PDF's in C, Eb, Bb, and bass clef of the etude, along with a Sibelius file of the etude in C. There are also PDF's of the triad pairs I played in the etude in a bunch of keys. These are in treble, and bass clef. These are all in the full download.

This is alien powers type shit. Check out Embraceable You, then go listen to Stardust off the Ghosts record, then go kill your ego and practice for 10,000 years. nicholasjozwiakfan

This is a wonderful album! Dave Douglas is one of my heroes. He's more than a great musician. He has a vision for the music and a feeling for putting together a group which is unique. So, beside Joey Baron (another heavyweight and one of my absolute favourite drummers) he invited some young cats to this session. They play just great and make sure that this music sounds totally fresh, whilst at the same time being deeply rooted in the jazz tradition. Florian Arbenz
